Harrison Adkin

Harrison is currently working at VC firm, Investible, where he is assisting in the raising and deployment of the $100M Climate Tech fund into startups that decarbonise the atmosphere. He has also worked as a research assistant at the The University of Sydney Business School, and an engineering consultant for the CSIRO.
Passionate about the intersection of business, emerging technology and social entrepreneurship, Harrison was one of the founding members of the Sydney Impact Investing (SUIIS), which fosters people and planet first thinking in students. He is also exploring the many facets of deep technology through managing the Sydney branch of Adept, which supports student-led engineering projects in fields ranging from rocket science to cryptocurrency.
Harrison is excited to explore his passion for writing further with deep dives into both the startup and sustainability ecosystems. He will mainly be writing for our blog, ‘The Curious One’, and hopes to cover climate and space tech, venture capital, impact investing and machine learning.
