Our Story.

For a group assignment in third-year university, our three founders worked together to discuss the method, results and impacts of a mathematically tricky economics paper. Having extracted the bigger picture from the paper, they soon realised there is a problem with academia. Massive insight can be gained by reading academic research, but most of it is incredibly inaccessible to wider society.

Elucidate was born to solve that problem. By distilling exciting papers in fun and story-like articles, Elucidate is making academic research part of everyday learning. Like that assignment, our articles are inquisitive, topical and offer insights that actually impact you.

Elucidate is now in a process of immense change. We are starting a new blog ‘The Curious One’, looking beyond academic research into real-world ideas and trends. We have developed a program with the Australian National University, are building our business of writing for corporate clients’ websites and publications, and have brought on three Senior Writers. We are also developing a network of freelance writers, so reach out if that would interest you at all.
